ZWISS education
An educational project has been initiated with regards to familiarizing
elemnetaryschool pupils to the public art in Zwolle. As a result of this
project, a coloringbook will be printed. Pupils can study and interpret
the sculptures present in Zwolle, through working on predefined assigments.
A playful way to introduce these youngsters, the 'newborns' of the artindustry,
to explore art.
The director of the Mediaterraneo Foundation, Mr. Angelo Barreca, has
expressed his interest in collaborating on this project. An exchange program
is being developed in cooperation with ZWISS advisor Antonella Tiozzo.
The participating classes from Zwolle are being invited to participate
in the Andersen Prize that takes place every year in Sestri Levante (Genova
province, Italy). It is a literature contest for classes and students
about written stories. The winners will be guests during the Andersen
Festival, one week of street shows and events for children and adults.

Pilot Project: 'Virtual Symposium'
Zwiss has started a new pilot project titled 'virtual symposium'.
This virtual meetingplace enables professional sculptors to meet and talk
to fellow sculptors and others in the industry. As there are frequent
gatherings of sculptors word wide at symposia and regional meetings, it
is always a matter of being able to attend or getting selected. This way
its not a matter of geography or artistic merits. A room named
'ZWISS' has been created on the ZWISS webpage under chat

This project is an experiment to see whether there is a desire for such
an application.
